Berlin is one of the major cities in the world with cultural and creative potential; a melting pot with a long standing reputation for encouragement and acceptance of free artistic exploration. The city has always attracted and promoted talented artists from all over the world.
Glass art is still relatively unknown in Berlin and, therefore, the focus of the GLASBRÜCKE BERLIN is to increase the appreciation of glass art. The foundation seeks to bridge the gap between creator and curator by promoting glass art to its rightful place in the contemporary European art world.
